FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Receiver Danny Amendola and cornerback Aqib Talib were present at the start of the Patriots' full-pads practice this morning, which was among the most notable news to come out of the 15 minutes that reporters were present.

Reporters saw Amendola, who reportedly has torn adductors in his hip, jog with his teammates, go through agility drills and catch a few lightly thrown passes. He didn't take part in every drill and wasn't running at full speed.

Based on his level of participation, it's hard to imagine Amendola being a full participant in today's practice.

Meanwhile, Talib's absence from Monday's practice raised some question as to whether he was hurt by Jets center Nick Mangold's sideline hit Thursday. But Talib, the team's No. 1 corner who has been a difference-maker since he was acquired in a trade in November, was back on the field today and appeared to be moving well.

Elsewhere, tight end Rob Gronkowski was present. With the Patriots and all NFL teams limited in the number of full-pads practices they can have, this figures to be a big day for Gronkowski to test himself.

Special-teams captain Matthew Slater and veteran defensive back Marquice Cole were the only players not spotted at the start of practice.
