FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- As has been the case all week, tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm/back) and receiver Danny Amendola (groin) were present at the start of the New England Patriots' practice on Friday.
Reporters saw them go through light jogging and stretching before the media-access period concluded. Players were in light shoulder pads and helmets for today's practice.
Both players have been limited in practices this week, according to the team's official participation report.
Elsewhere, special teams captain Matthew Slater (wrist) was the lone player not spotted at practice. If the Patriots consider an internal promotion to fill Slater's significant role on special teams, practice squad safety Kanorris Davis would seemingly be a top candidate.
