Falcons safety fined for hit on Dobson

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud was fined $15,750 for his hit on Patriots receiver Aaron Dobson in the third quarter of Sunday night's game.

DeCoud lowered his shoulder into Dobson's helmet as the receiver dove for a low pass in the end zone. DeCoud was not penalized on the play.

Dobson left the game with a neck injury, didn't return and has been limited in practice since.

Also, Falcons safety William Moore was fined $15,750 for striking Patriots receiver Kenbrell Thompkins in the head early in the fourth quarter. Moore was penalized on the play.
