Before the New England Patriots play a game, we'll attempt to predict the team's inactive players.

Our best guess on the list for Sunday's home game against the New Orleans Saints:

Steve Beauharnais: Rookie linebacker has been a healthy scratch the past four games.

Josh Boyce: With veteran receiver Austin Collie having a week-plus to get integrated into the mix, we'll play a hunch that Collie might knock Boyce to the inactive list.

Rob Gronkowski: After optimism earlier in the week that he would make his debut, things apparently turned late in the week, with ESPN NFL Insider Ed Werder reporting Friday that the Patriots no longer expect him to play.

Tommy Kelly: Veteran defensive tackle missed all week of practice with a right knee injury and has already been ruled out.

Matthew Slater: Special-teams captain has been at practice, but still had a cast on his left wrist, which makes us think it might be too early to expect him back.

Leon Washington: Veteran running back missed all week of practice with an ankle injury and has already been ruled out.

Tavon Wilson: Reserve safety and core special-teams player has been limited with a hamstring injury, and missed last Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Bengals.
