FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola did indeed suffer a concussion during Sunday's Week 6 win over the New Orleans Saints, as he was one of five official absences on the team's injury report Wednesday. Cornerback Aqib Talib (hip) and starting right guard Dan Connolly, who also suffered a concussion on Sunday, were among the others who didn't participate.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman (thigh), tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (knee) and safety Devin McCourty (shoulder) were among seven Patriots -- including tight end Rob Gronkowski (back/forearm) -- that were limited at practice.

Running back Stevan Ridley, safety Nate Ebner, center Ryan Wendell and wide receiver Aaron Dobson were all removed from the injury report after appearing on it last week.
