FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where the New England Patriots (5-2) will host the Miami Dolphins (3-3) in an AFC East matchup (CBS, 1 p.m. EST):

Weather conditions: Current temperatures are in the mid-40's, with an expected rise to 55 degrees by kickoff. There's hardly a cloud in the sky on this crisp New England fall morning, and rain doesn't look to be an issue for the day. Winds are expected to swirl at around 15 miles per hour from the southwest at kickoff, according to Accuweather.com.

Five more players to declare inactive: The Patriots have already ruled out defensive tackle Tommy Kelly (knee) and running back Leon Washington (ankle) for today's game, leaving five more players to deactivate. The two biggest injuries of note include Danny Amendola (concussion/groin), who is expected to play, and cornerback Aqib Talib (hip), who is questionable.

Stat of the day: The Patriots are looking to improve to 22-1 at home in the month of October since 2003, the best in the NFL.

Anderson on the call: Veteran Walt Anderson will officiate today's game.

National Anthem: To be performed by the Boston based group Five O'Clock Shadow.

Color guard: Will be presented today by the New Bedford Police Department Honor Guard.
