FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots coach Bill Belichick hasn't met with the media since Wednesday morning, so when he arrived for his regular Friday news conference, he opened with some non-football-based remarks.
"Another championship banner in Boston. Congraulations to the Red Sox," he said. "It's awesome."
Along those lines, the Kraft family took out a full-page advertisement in the Boston Globe to salute the Red Sox.
The ad appears on Page C5 of the Globe (subscribers can see it here) and reads: "Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox on winning the 2013 World Series! ... Sox, beards and rings, it's a strong look!"
