As expected, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has bowed out of the Pro Bowl once again. He will be replaced by Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith (KCChiefs.com link).

Brady was one of four Patriots to earn Pro Bowl honors this season, joining guard Logan Mankins, cornerback Aqib Talib and special teams captain Matthew Slater. Talib has also bowed out after injuring his knee in Sunday's AFC Championship Game.

Kicker Stephen Gostkowski was added to the Pro Bowl roster, with Denver's Matt Prater advancing to the Super Bowl.
