The Patriots have the following draft picks in 2014:

1. 29th overall
2. 62nd overall
3. 93rd overall
4a. 130th overall
4b. 140th overall (compensatory, can't be traded)
6a. 198th overall (from Eagles)
6b. 206th overall
7. 244th overall

Highlighting some of the recent players picked in the 93rd spot:

2013: CB Will Davis (Dolphins)
2012: DT Brandon Thompson (Bengals)
2011: DB Chris Conte (Bears)
2010: TE Tony Moeaki (Chiefs)
2009: DT Corey Irvin (Panthers)
2008: LB Phillip Wheeler (Colts)
2007: RB Garrett Wolfe (Bears)
2006: TE Dominique Byrd (Rams)
2005: OT Trai Essex (Steeelers)
2004: LB Keyaron Fox (Chiefs)
2003: RB Chris Brown (Titans)
2002: G Terrence Metcalf (Bears)

ANALYSIS: Outside of linebacker Phillip Wheeler, now with the Dolphins, there have been few players to emerge from the No. 93 slot in recent years. Tight end Tony Moeaki had a productive rookie season (47 catches, 3 TDs) for the Chiefs in 2010 before injuries knocked him off course. The Patriots have had the 93rd pick once, selecting defensive back Darren Anderson of Toledo in 1992. Anderson only played one game with the Patriots, but went on to play seven NFL seasons while appearing in 74 career games.
