New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski landed at No. 41 in NFL Network's annual "Top 100" player poll.

In the segment, Broncos tight end Julius Thomas is complimentary of Gronkowski and talks about how he tries to match his production, while Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams calls him a "dying breed" because he is equally effective as a pass-catcher and blocker.

One of the biggest takeaways from the feature was the Patriots' production with Gronkowski in the lineup compared to without Gronkowski.

This is a drop for Gronkowski, who was 25th last year and 23rd the year before, with his injury-shortened season likely a primary factor for that. He is the first Patriot to be featured in this year's poll.
