The "Middays with MFB" program on Boston-based sports radio WEEI devoted a segment to the AFC East on Monday, with a media member covering each team as a guest -- play-by-play man Bob Wischusen (Jets), reporter Joe Buscaglia (Bills); reporter Dave Hyde (Dolphins) and reporter Mike Reiss (Patriots).

Audio of the segment can be recapped here, and some of the Patriots-specific discussion included:

Which division foe presents the biggest challenge to New England? Reiss picks the Jets, while co-host Christian Fauria goes with the Bills.

Of the quarterbacks not named Brady in the division, which one has the best chance to succeed in 2014? Reiss leans towards Miami's Ryan Tannehill, while Fauria is higher on Buffalo's EJ Manuel.

Is the possibility of a trade for Texans WR Andre Johnson just a pipe dream? Reiss doesn't see the Texans dealing Johnson.

Are the Patriots gambling if they don't bring in another tight end? Reiss thinks the Patriots are light at the position, but with limited options, the offense simply might reshape itself into more of a three-receiver attack.

Should the "Tuck Rule" have been its own category in ESPN vote? The discussion was brought up that perhaps the "Tuck Rule" alone should have had its own place in ESPN.com's "Most Memorable Plays" voting, and Reiss explains his thinking in coming up with the plays.
