Linebacker Jerod Mayo has been with the Patriots since 2008. Clayton Weishuhn played for the team from 1982-86.

The two have been mentioned in the same sentence on a weekly basis this season, as Mayo continues to rack up tackles. According to coaches' tabulations, Mayo has 103 tackles on the season, which puts him on pace for a career high 206.

The 206 tackles would be the most for a Patriots player since Weishuhn had 229 tackles in 1983.
