Protection keeps Brady clean

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was sacked once in 28 pass plays in Sunday's win over the Bills, which doesn't account for the two scrambles on called pass plays.

On the season, Brady has been sacked 25 times in 501 pass attempts, ranking the Patriots seventh-best in the NFL in terms of fewest sacks allowed per pass play. According to in-game statisticians, Brady has absorbed 45 quarterback hits in 15 games this season, which is also impressive from a Patriots standpoint.
