Players watch 'The Fighter' with Ward
By Mike Reiss
Bill Belichick has broken up the grind of training camp and the preseason in different ways. Tonight, his wrinkle includes sending his players to the movies.

As noted by linebacker Tracy White on Twitter, Belichick gave the players a treat by having them watch "The Fighter." An added twist came with boxer Micky Ward, "The Fighter" himself, joining players at the movie.
"The Fighter" is an inspirational story which is explained this way on its official Website:
"Academy Award nominees Mark Wahlberg and Amy Adams, and Academy Award winners Christian Bale and Melissa Leo star in this remarkable film. Based on a true story, two brothers, against all odds, come together to train for a historic title bout that has the power that has the power to reunite their fractured family and give their hard-luck town what it's been waiting for: Pride. Micky Ward (Wahlberg) is a struggling boxer long overshadowed by his older brother and trainer, Dicky (Bale), a local legend."
