By Mike Rodak
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis was among six players not practicing as the Patriots held their second practice of their bye week on Thursday.
Green-Ellis was been hampered by a toe injury this season. The team does not have to release an injury report during their bye week.
Meanwhile, quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Wes Welker remained out of practice for a second straight day. They were joined by offensive linemen Sebastian Vollmer (back/foot), Marcus Cannon (undisclosed), and Logan Mankins (knee) as those not spotted during the media access portion of practice on Thursday.
Players were in light shoulder pads and practiced outdoors for the second time this week.
