Pats leapfrogged by Broncos in rankings
Despite being on a bye during Week 9, the Patriots slipped one spot in ESPN's NFL power rankings entering Week 10, dropping from eighth to ninth.
The team was leapfrogged by the Denver Broncos, whom they defeated earlier this year 31-21. Denver matched New England's 5-3 record with a 31-20 defeat of the Cincinnati Bengals on the road in Week 9, and has now won three straight games.
The move means the Patriots are now the fourth-highest ranked AFC team at this juncture of the season, also trailing the Houston Texans (second) and the Baltimore Ravens (seventh). They'll host the Texans next month, and previously fell to the Ravens in Week 3 play.
The Patriots have won four out of five games, and currently sit atop the AFC East, one game clear of the Miami Dolphins. They'll look to continue their strong play within the division this Sunday when they host the Buffalo Bills.
We'll throw the question back to you: despite the fact that the Broncos have come on of late, do you believe they are a stronger team than the Patriots?
