Wind moves Patriots practice inside
By Mike REiss
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – In a rare move, Patriots coach Bill Belichick moved the team’s Wednesday practice inside the Dana-Farber Fieldhouse. High winds in the region contributed to the decision.
“It doesn’t look like that’s going to be the forecast for Sunday,” Belichick explained. “We’ve dealt with plenty of wind, and a decent amount of rain this season, so we’ll try to get some timing in playing conditions that will be a little more game-like. I’m not a meteorologist, so I’m not sure how that is going to turn out, but it looks like [the strom is] going to go through.”
Including today, the Patriots have only had two indoor practices since the start of training camp.
Belichick has often said that he likes the team to practice in the elements because they might be playing in them at some point during the year.
