WESTWOOD, Mass. -- Patriots safety Patrick Chung officially launched the "Chung Changing Lives Foundation" on Monday night at Mercedes-Benz of Westwood, with several teammates in attendance to support the cause.

"It's all about the kids," Chung said in remarks to the crowd, alongside his wife Cecilia. "We call it the three 'A's' -- arts, academics and athletics. There are so many kids that are talented but never get the opportunity to display their skills. That's what Chung Changing Lives was founded for, to give equal opportunity to all these kids."

Teammates in attendance included cornerback Kyle Arrington, running back Brandon Bolden, cornerback Ras-I Dowling, receiver Julian Edelman, tight end Daniel Fells, safety Steve Gregory, linebacker Jerod Mayo, safety Devin McCourty and defensive end Trevor Scott.

In addition, the Vince Wilfork Foundation donated $1,000 as one of the evening's presenting sponsors.

Players are scheduled to return to work Tuesday morning. While many have been at Gillette Stadium on a daily basis since the team's last practice Thursday, others took advantage of the bye weekend by traveling home.
