DL Deaderick claimed by Jaguars
By Field Yates
Defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick, waived by the Patriots on Monday, has been claimed by the Jaguars.
Deaderick, a part-time starter in 2012 and a 2010 seventh-round pick, is entering the final year of his rookie contract. He finished the 2012 season with a career-best 18 tackles to go along with a sack and a pair of forced fumbles, playing 34 percent of the Patriots' defensive snaps.
The Jaguars are entering their first season under the direction of general manager David Caldwell and head coach Gus Bradley.
