Catching up with former Patriots, Week 7

Every Wednesday during the season, we'll lead off the day with a quick recap of some notable former New England Patriots players and their standing with new teams.

Patrick Chung (Eagles)
Safety is inactive for a 17-3 loss to the visiting Cowboys with a should injury.
Season snapshot: Has started four of seven games and is credited with 20 tackles.

Jermaine Cunningham (49ers)
Defensive end/outside linebacker who signed with the 49ers on Oct. 1 is inactive for 31-17 road win over the Titans.
Season snapshot: Wearing jersey No. 50, he has yet to play in a game.

Brandon Deaderick (Jaguars)
Defensive tackle plays 29 snaps and doesn't register on the stat sheet in a 24-6 home loss to the Chargers.
Season snapshot: Has played 182 total snaps, totaling seven tackles, one sack, one fumble recovery, and one pass defended.

Brian Hoyer (Browns)
Quarterback tears his ACL in his third start, Oct. 3 versus the Bills, and is out for the season.
Season snapshot: Led the Browns to two wins in two starts before his injury; 57-of-96 for 615 yards with 5 TDs and 3 INTs.

Zoltan Mesko (Steelers)
One punts for a 36 yards and a 24-yard net in a 19-16 home win over the Ravens.
Season snapshot: 27 punts for 42.4 average (31st in NFL) and 37.2 net (29th in NFL)

Trevor Scott (Buccaneers)
Defensive end dresses and plays nine defensive snaps, and seven on special teams, in a 31-23 road loss to the Falcons. Doesn't register on the stat sheet.
Season snapshot: 54 total snaps.

Zach Sudfeld (Jets)
Serves as a game captain in 30-27 overtime win over the Patriots, playing one offensive snap and 12 special teams snaps.
Season snapshot: Wearing jersey No. 82, tight end has played two offensive snaps in two games. No stats.

Donald Thomas (Colts)
Lands on season-ending injured reserve after injuring his quadriceps in Week 2 home loss to Dolphins.
Season snapshot: Was opening-day starter at left guard and now faces long rehab.

Wes Welker (Broncos)
Seven catches for 96 yards in 39-33 road loss to the Colts. Plays 71 of 78 offensive snaps.
Season snapshot: Receiver has played 388 of 525 offensive snaps (73.9 percent), and has 44 catches for 474 yards and eight touchdowns.

Danny Woodhead (Chargers)
Nine rushes for 29 yards and a touchdown, and four catches for 47 yards in a 24-6 road win over the Jaguars. Plays 33 of 71 offensive snaps.
Season snapshot: Is second on the team lead with 40 receptions (for 314 yards and 3 TDs), and has carried the ball 46 times for 172 yards and a TD. Has played 215 offensive snaps.
