Marcus Cannon leaves game with injury
By Mike Reiss
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Third-year Patriots right tackle Marcus Cannon, who started in Sunday night's game against the Broncos, left the game in the first quarter. The team announced it was an ankle injury and that Cannon was questionable to return.
Cannon, who was injured on a strip sack of quarterback Tom Brady when defensive end Von Miller beat left tackle Nate Solder, headed to the locker room with members of the team's athletic training and medical staff.
Eight-year veteran Will Svitek replaced Cannon at right tackle.
