Snapshot: Belichick and Manning at Pebble
Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and Patriots coach Bill Belichick played a practice round together at Pebble Beach on Wednesday.
Just over two weeks after embracing at midfield following the AFC Championship Game, the paths of Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning have crossed again, this time not on the gridiron but on the groomed fairways of Pebble Beach.
The two played a practice round together Wednesday in advance of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, which starts Thursday.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is also playing in the event. He and Belichick will be in the same foursome Thursday, paired with pros James Driscoll and Ricky Barnes. They’ll tee off at Spyglass Hill at 11:22 a.m. ET.
Brady and Manning are two of the four NFL quarterbacks in the field. Aaron Rodgers and Alex Smith are also playing.
