New England Patriots: Gillette Stadium
This Friday, owner Robert Kraft and Joe D'Entremont, the president of the Massachusetts Chapter 1 of the Rolling Thunder, will conduct the ceremony to dedicate a black seat above the stadium's south end zone, which will include a plaque to recognize soldiers who are prisoners of war or missing in action.
The Patriots and Revolution will become the first professional teams in the major pro sports leagues to leave a seat permanently unoccupied.
On Sunday, the Patriots will host the Buffalo Bills on Veterans Day.
