Fort Myers, Fla. -- A cool day for one Jeremy P. Hazelbaker, who in his first spring-training camp is drawing a start for the Red Sox Tuesday night against the Minnesota Twins in Hammond Stadium.

Hazelbaker, a fourth-round draft pick out of Ball State who played for Lowell and Greenville last season, is getting the start in left field for Jacoby Ellsbury. A year ago at this time, he was tearing up the Mid-American Conference, batting a conference-leading .429 with a school-record OBP of .550. The kid can run a little bit, too -- he stole 11 bases in 13 attempts at Greenville last season.

Ellsbury, center fielder Mike Cameron and catcher Victor Martinez all have the night off.

Here's the Sox lineup:

1. Marco Scutaro, SS
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
3. J.D. Drew, RF
4. Kevin Youkilis, 1B
5. David Ortiz, DH
6. Adrian Beltre, 3B
7. Jason Varitek, C
8. Hazelbaker, LF
9. Che-Hsuan Lin, CF
SP -- Clay Buchholz
