Buch back, Ells still out, Nava leads off

June, 2, 2013
Clay Buchholz (7-0, 1.73 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 73 K's in 72 2/3 IP over 10 starts) returns to the mound for the first time since May 22, having been shelved by an odd AC joint injury. He'll face Yankees right-hander Hiroki Kuroda (6-3, 2.39 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 46 K's in 67 2/3 IP over 11 starts).

Jacoby Ellsbury is sitting out for the third straight night against the Yankees with lingering tightness in his left groin. Jackie Bradley Jr. starts in center field for the third straight game. Bradley went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in Saturday night's 11-1 Sox win, raising his average to .171 entering Sunday's rubber game.

And Daniel Nava again bats leadoff, with his slash line up to .296/.398/.485/.883 following a big game Saturday (4-for-6, HR, 4 RBI).
