Below are the five free agents we think are most interesting to the Red Sox. In his introduction, Bowden says these numbers reflect the industries growing revenues and thus inflated salaries.

• No 2 Jacoby Ellsbury, CF -- YEARS: 6 -- TOTAL: $120M -- A.A.V.: $20M

• No. 3 Brian McCann, C -- YEARS: 5 -- TOTAL: $90M -- A.A.V.: $18M

• No. 14 Mike Napoli, 1B -- YEARS: 2 -- TOTAL: $28M -- A.A.V.: $14M

• No. 17 Stephen Drew, SS -- YEARS: 3 -- TOTAL: $36M -- A.A.V.: $12M

• No. 21 Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C -- YEARS: 3 -- TOTAL: $30M -- A.A.V.: $10M

Which of the deals above stands out as the one the Red Sox should jump at? Vote in our poll above.
