In addition to his World Series ring, David Ortiz also received a special ring from the Red Sox for his MVP performance in the Fall Classic.

Ortiz's MVP ring is of 14-karat white gold and encrusted with nine rubies depicting the hanging Sox logo. It says "World Series" across the top and "MVP" just below, with a Red Sox 'B' logo on one side and Ortiz's jersey number 34 below.

Also on the one-of-kind piece is an image of Ortiz's face with his name on top and 2013 below.

Ortiz, who was 11 for 16 (.688) with two home runs and six RBIs in the World Series, wore a chain around his neck that by the end of the ceremony had all four of his World Series rings (2004, 2007, 2013 and the MVP ring) around it.
