Craig, 30, was an All-Star in 2013 and helped St. Louis reach the World Series. He hit .315 with 13 homers and 97 RBIs in 134 games for the Cardinals last season. This season, he’s hitting .237 with seven homers and 44 RBIs in 97 games. He’s played 70 games in right field, 10 games in left field and 24 games at first base this season.

He won a World Series with the Cardinals in 2011.

Craig's current five-year contract is worth $31 million, with a $13 million club option for 2018. He will make $5.5 million next season, $9 million in 2016 and $11 million in 2017.
