Capps K's Ortiz to end 6th

ANAHEIM -- The American League could have used a home run in the sixth inning from the Home Run Derby winner, David Ortiz.

Instead, Ortiz took a 95-mile-an-hour fastball for a called third strike to end the inning, the AL clinging to a 1-0 lead.

Ortiz was pinch-hitting for good friend and longtime Angels favorite Vladi Guerrero, who struck out and lined out softly in his two at-bats.

Of the healthy Red Sox All-Stars, only Adrian Beltre has not played.
