Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was spotted out in public again, this time in our own backyard. Manziel was at Fenway Park on Wednesday night taking in the Red Sox-White Sox game. True to form, Manziel got the attention of a number of young ladies while taking in the game.

Manziel also spent some time with kids at the game with the Red Sox Foundation (see below). Manziel, of course, is a client of Fenway Sports Management, the marketing arm of the Fenway Sports Group.

CLEVELAND -- It was nearing 9 o'clock at Progressive Field. The tarp was still on the field, the rain was still falling and the message on the video scoreboard had not deviated from rain delay when a roar went up from the fans staying dry under the grandstand.

The reason for the commotion? Johnny Manziel, wearing a Cleveland Indians jersey, had emerged from behind home plate with a few of his new Cleveland Browns teammates, waving to the crowd.

Manziel's appearance lasted no more than a few minutes, long enough for the Indians to project his grinning image on the scoreboard, and for the folks who had surged forward to snap his picture with their cellphones.

Manziel was to have thrown out the ceremonial first pitch with fellow Browns first-rounder Justin Gilbert, but with the start of the game delayed so long, that was scratched. It wasn’t until the players left the field that the grounds crew came out and the Indians announced the game would start at 9:30, almost 2 1/2 hours after its scheduled start.

Manziel did not make himself available to the media, but visited with Indians players and staff in their clubhouse.
