Bruins winger Loui Eriksson was cleared for contact at Wednesday's practice in Los Angeles, but is not expected to play in Thursday night's game against the Kings, coach Claude Julien told reporters.
Eriksson has been out since sustaining his second concussion of the season from a Brooks Orpik hit on Dec. 7. He has been skating with the team while wearing a non-contact jersey.
"He's feeling good, he's been cleared for contact, now it's just a matter of time of him working through that and getting himself back in the lineup," Julien said following practice, according to the Bruins website.
Milan Lucic, who missed Tuesday's game with what he thought was food poisoning, was at practice and is expected to play Thursday.
