Going streaking:BACK TO THE SCENE OF THE CRIME: The Blackhawks return to Boston for the first time since celebrating their Stanley Cup championship on June 24 at TD Garden. In Game 6 of the finals, Chicago scored a pair of goals in a 17-second span in the final 76 seconds of regulation en route to a 3-2 Cup win. It’s not the first time these teams have played since the finals. The Blackhawks defeated the Bruins 3-2 in a shootout on Jan. 19 at United Center.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE LATELY: The Bruins are 12-0-1 in their last 13 games. Boston had its 12-game winning streak snapped by the Montreal Canadiens in a 2-1 shootout loss Monday at TD Garden. The Bruins are 28-7-3 on home ice this season, and 5-0-1 in their last six games at TD Garden. Chicago is 18-9-8 on the road this season. The Blackhawks posted a 4-2 win over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday at United Center. Chicago has a 17-3-6 record against the Eastern Conference this season, including an 8-1-4 record against Atlantic Division opponents.

MASKED MEN: Tuukka Rask will start for the Bruins. He’s 7-0-1 in his last eight starts. Overall, he’s 32-14-5 with a 2.05 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage. Rask is 0-0-1 in two career regular-season games against the Blackhawks. Corey Crawford will start for the Blackhawks. He’s 29-13-10 with a 2.20 GAA and a .919 SP in 53 games this season. Crawford’s 1-1-1 in three career regular-season games against the Bruins.

STRIKE FIRST: The Bruins are 37-5-1 this season when they score first, while the Blackhawks are 34-1-7 in the same category.
