Bruins move rookie games to TD Garden

BOSTON, MA -- The Boston Bruins announced Friday that their two preseason rookie game against the New York Islanders -- originally scheduled to be held in Shelton, CT -- will now be played at the TD Garden in Boston on Wednesday, September 15 and Thursday, September 16. Both games will start at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Admission to both games for the general public will be five dollars ($5.00), with the proceeds benefitting the Boston Bruins Foundation. Bruins full season ticket holders and premium clients will receive free tickets to both games.

Fans can buy tickets through Ticketmaster beginning Thursday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. ET and on bostonbruins.com. Tickets will also be available at the TD Garden box office.

It should be the first chance for fans to see No. 2 overall pick Tyler Seguin at the Garden.

The Bruins full training camp opens on Friday, September 17.
