Boychuk out; Krejci misses practice

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- Greetings from Ristuccia Arena, where the Bruins are practicing for their first Northeast Division tilt with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday at TD Garden. The team announced yesterday that defenseman Johnny Boychuk will miss approximately four weeks with a slight fracture in his left forearm. But also of note on Monday morning was that David Krejci missed practice because he was getting his wisdom teeth out.

Without Krejci on the ice Monday, the Bruins had Daniel Paille centering the first line. Defenseman Adam McQuaid, who with Boychuk out will most likely see his first game action of the season Thursday, was paired with Matt Hunwick.

Here’s what the lineup looked like at Monday’s practice:

Milan Lucic-Daniel Paille-Nathan Horton

Jordan Caron-Patrice Bergeron-Blake Wheeler

Mark Recchi-Tyler Seguin-Michael Ryder

Brad Marchand-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton/Brian McGrattan

Zdeno Chara-Andrew Ference

Mark Stuart-Dennis Seidenberg

Matt Hunwick-Adam McQuaid

Tim Thomas

Tuukka Rask
