The Bruins had their final practice before taking off for Buffalo, where they will face the Sabres in their third straight Northeast Division tilt.

The Bruins carry a two-game win streak into tomorrow night's game and are off to a 6-2-0 start while the Sabres lost their last game and have been slow out of the gate, going 3-7-2. The second-place Bruins sit 4 points ahead of the last-place Sabres (8 points).

Despite Buffalo's early struggles, the Bruins expect the Sabres to be hungry for a turnaround in front of their fans at HSBC Arena.

"That's always one of the toughest buildings in the league to play in and I don't care if they're struggling, they'll be ready to play," head coach Claude Julien said.

Things were status quo at Bruins practice, with all lines from Monday remaining intact. Of note was Daniel Paille and Jordan Caron wearing green practice jerseys and focusing on the penalty kill. It was not known if each player has Irish roots they were representing.

Also, the team brass hierarchy was in attendance as team president Cam Neely, general manager Peter Chiarelli, and assistant general managers Jim Benning and Don Sweeney were watching intently from the rafters. With the NHL GM meetings set for next week and the Bruins looking to dump salary, it's quite possible some players were being evaluated for a possible trade.

Here's what the lines looked like Tuesday:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Mark Recchi--Patrice Bergeron-Jordan Caron
(Blake Wheeler-Tyler Seguin-Michael Ryder
Brad Marchand-Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton/Brian McGrattan

Andrew Ference-Zdeno Chara
Dennis Seidenberg-Matt Hunwick
Mark Stuart-Adam McQuaid
