BOSTON -- The Bruins have agreed to terms with defenseman Marc Cantin to
an entry-level contract.
Cantin, a 6-foot-1, 201-pound native of Omemee, Ontario, had 10 goals and 31 assists for 41 points and 78 penalty minutes in 61 games for the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors of the Ontario Hockey League. In 249 career OHL games with Mississauga St. Michael’s, Windsor and Belleville, the 20-year-old has 16 goals and 64 assists for 80 points and 278 PIM.
In 2010, Cantin won the Memorial Cup as a member of the Windsor
Spitfires. He also was invited to and participated in last summer’s
Bruins Development Camp.
