BOSTON -- Milan Lucic said after Thursday's morning skate at TD Garden that he's feeling fine but Bruins head coach Claude Julien said the winger still has not been cleared to play against Chicago.

Lucic has been out of the lineup since he suffered a high ankle sprain Nov. 25 in Minnesota. On Wednesday, Lucic said he could return against the Blackhawks Thursday, against the Rangers Saturday, or Wednesday at Anaheim.

* With Andrew Ference ruled out for six weeks with a groin injury, defenseman Adam McQuaid is scheduled to get back in the lineup Thursday. McQuaid, who is without a point in three NHL games this season, has been a healthy scratch the last six games.

* Tim Thomas was the first Bruins goaltender to leave the ice after the morning skate, which usually means he'll get the start. Thomas lost a 5-4 shootout to Chicago on Dec. 18.
