Cup takes a spill on Ryder's watch
Tuesday is former Bruins forward Michael Ryder’s day with the Stanley Cup in Bonavista, Newfoundland, where he was feted with a parade and a public viewing of the Cup. At the viewing, the Cup took a spill after being placed on a table outdoors on a clearly windy afternoon.
Check out the video above from the St. John’s Telegram. After it fell a few feet off the table, someone joked that it was the “first dent of the day.”
