Julien glad Pacioretty is healthy

October, 27, 2011
BOSTON -- The topic of Max Pacioretty and Zdeno Chara playing against each other for the first time since Chara's controversial hit left Pacioretty with a severe concussion and broken vertabra, has been taboo amongst Bruins players this week. But following the Bruins’ morning skate Thursday, head coach Claude Julien did answer a question regarding the topic. Just as the press conference was concluding, a reporter asked about whether the Bruins would be more preoccupied with the way Pacioretty -- who had two goals and an assist in a 5-1 win over the Flyers Wednesday -- is playing than they would be with last season’s incident?

"I'm surprised it took that long for that question to come out," joked Julien. "But I can tell you honestly the one thing we're happy about and that would be for anybody else is that he's healthy. As a player in the league, you don't want to see somebody in the league end his career on an unfortunate accident but what you want to see is a player come back and be healthy. As far as that's concerned, he's healthy, we've turned the page and now it's time to move on."
