Campbell sits out with foot injury

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- Boston Bruins forward Gregory Campbell did not practice with the team on Monday at Ristuccia Arena and is listed as day to day because of an injury to his left foot after he blocked a shot against the Blue Jackets during Saturday’s 5-3 win in Columbus.

He received treatment on Monday and is wearing a walking boot.

“He’s labeled as questionable for [Tuesday],” said Bruins coach Claude Julien. “He certainly didn’t feel very good today, but he’s a tough individual.”

Since Campbell and teammate Daniel Paille (mild concussion) are listed as day to day, Julien said the team may need help from the Providence Bruins for Tuesday’s game against the Los Angeles Kings.

“That’s something we’re probably going to look at either later today or tomorrow morning,” Julien said. “If need be, we’ll be calling somebody up.”
