The Boston Celtics will formally introduce their four draft picks on Tuesday morning at the team's training facility. In keeping with a time-honored tradition, the rookies will be asked why they chose their jersey numbers and they will joke that most of Boston's digits have already been retired, leaving slim pickings for the newcomers.

Via Celtics.com, here are the new rookie digits:

• Terry Rozier - 12

• R.J. Hunter - 28

• Jordan Mickey - 55

• Marcus Thornton - 27

Rozier looks to bring some stability to a No. 12 jersey that's been worn by 10 different players over the past five years; Hunter takes a number worn briefly last season by Jameer Nelson; Mickey picks a jersey most related to Eric Williams (1996-2004); and Thornton is the first player bold enough to take over 27 since Jordan Crawford was traded away in 2014.
