Celtics rookie Semih Erden produced a double-double (18 points, 12 rebounds) as host Turkey wrapped up group play with an undefeated 5-0 mark by throttling China, 87-40, Thursday in Ankara.

Erden connected on 9 of 11 shots from the field, dominating an undersized China squad that trailed by 26 at halftime after mustering just 13 points in the first two frames. Erden added three assists and three blocks over 27 minutes off the bench.

Erden is now averaging 10.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Turkey won Group C and now advances to the Round of 8, where it will joust with Group D runner-up France (3-2) on Sunday in Istanbul.
