Receiver Darnell Jenkins put his best foot forward in the Patriots' preseason finale, but it wasn't enough to earn a roster spot. Jenkins has been informed today that the team will waive him.
The move isn't a surprise as the Patriots' depth chart seems well established with Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Brandon Tate, Julian Edelman and Sam Aiken.
