CANTON, Ohio -- Welcome to Fawcett Stadium, where the Buffalo Bills open the NFL's preseason against the New York Giants (NBC, 8 p.m. ET).

Weather conditions: It's been a damp weekend in central Ohio but no precipitation is expected by kickoff. Temperatures will be in the mid-70s with some humidity. Not a bad night for football.

Monitoring starters' time: The biggest question entering the game is how long EJ Manuel, Sammy Watkins, and the rest of the Bills' top unit will play. The expectation is that they'll see some time, but it would be surprising if they stayed in the game beyond the first quarter. Neither team is required to release a list of inactives, but Bills tight ends Scott Chandler (groin) and Tony Moeaki (hamstring) aren't expected to play.

Live tweets: We'll be tweeting before, during, and after the game. Those will appear in our Bills live feed. For a national perspective on the game, ESPN NFL Insider Mike Sando is also in town and can be followed on Twitter.

Extra points pushed back: Tonight's game will be the first time that the NFL will experiment with extra points from the 15-yard line. Referee Walt Anderson, who visited Bills training camp last week, will officiate the game. For the first time, officials will be able to communicate with each other via headsets, and will also be able to consult NFL Vice President of Officiating Dean Blandino during replay reviews.

Finally, we took a walk through the Pro Football Hall of Fame this afternoon. Here were a few highlights:
