ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills on Wednesday signed defensive tackle Stefan Charles to the 53-man roster from the Tennessee Titans' practice squad.

Charles is a native of Oshawa, Ontario, and played at the University of Regina. He was selected 10th overall by the Edmonton Eskimos in the 2013 CFL draft but instead spent training camp with the Titans.

At 6-foot-5, 323 pounds, Charles fills the roster spot vacated by defensive tackle Jay Ross, who was waived Tuesday.
