A weekly examination of the Bills' ESPN.com Power Ranking:
Preseason: 30 | Last Week: 25 | ESPN.com Power Ranking since 2002
Well, that was easy.
After not playing this past weekend, the Buffalo Bills were still able to move up one spot in ESPN.com's Power Rankings. In doing so, they jumped ahead of the 4-7 Cleveland Browns, who voters now feel are worse than the Bills.
Either way, the Bills are still in a hole.
If they want to make the playoffs, they'll have to make a quick rise up the ladder, moving ahead of teams like the Ravens (5-6), Chargers (5-6), Steelers (5-6), Dolphins (5-6) and Jets (5-6). It won't be an easy task.
While the Bills have the reeling 2-9 Falcons on Sunday, their road may have gotten a little tougher after that. The Buccaneers have won three straight and have now moved up to No. 27, while the Jaguars, who still remain at No. 31, were also winners last week.
