Each day during Senior Bowl week, we'll set the stage for the day's events:
8:30-10 a.m. -- Player weigh-in by National Football Scouting (Mobile Convention Center)
1-3 p.m. -- South team practice (Fairhope Stadium)
3-5 p.m. -- North team practice (Ladd-Peebles Stadium)
6-8:30 p.m. -- Player/media night (Battleship USS Alabama)
8:30-11 p.m. -- Teams conduct formal interviews with players
Record underclassmen declare: This week in Mobile, Ala., is devoted to the senior class entering May's draft, but it's worth noting that a record amount of underclassmen declared by the Jan. 15 deadline. In all, there are 98 non-seniors vying to get drafted, which could push some seniors into the undrafted free-agent category. That makes this week of practices more important for players but perhaps less important for scouts and team executives.
Today's weather: low-60s, mostly sunny, light winds.
