Bills hire Rob Moore to coach receivers

February, 6, 2014
The Buffalo Bills made another step toward completing their coaching staff Thursday, hiring Rob Moore as wide receivers coach.

Moore spent the past four seasons as wide receivers coach at Syracuse, where he coached under current Bills head coach Doug Marrone from 2010-12.

Moore, 45, had a 12-year NFL career as a receiver with the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 1994 and 1997.

He replaces Ike Hilliard, who was fired as receivers coach after one season. The Bills also hired former Baltimore Ravens receivers coach Jim Hostler last month as a "senior offensive assistant."
