The Buffalo Bills announced another coaching move Friday, promoting defensive quality control coach Jason Rebrovich to assistant defensive line coach.

Rebrovich, a native of Clarence, N.Y., attended Cortland State. After stints coaching at Cortland, Concord University, and Ferris State, Rebrovich served as a defensive assistant for Doug Marrone at Syracuse from 2011-2012.

He will assistant defensive line coach Pepper Johnson, who was hired last week.

The Bills are now without both of their defensive quality control coaches from last season: Rebrovich and Brian Fleury, who left to become assistant linebackers coach for the Cleveland Browns.

That will likely open the door for some younger coaches to join the defensive staff in the coming months.
