Weather hasn't cooperated with the Buffalo Bills' free-agent plans, as a blizzard Wednesday has virtually shut down Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

General manager Doug Whaley issued the following statement Wednesday afternoon:
"Today’s storm challenged us in terms of getting free agents in-and-out because teams like to get them in as soon as possible. It's important to have plans for all scenarios. Today, we were prepared in dealing with this storm.

We’re excited about this start to free agency and our plans moving forward. With the signing of Chris Williams, I am particularly excited about the direction our offensive line is moving in because we wanted to address this position and we feel like we filled the need with a very good player."
